CELEBRATING OUR 1ST YEAR 🥳

I still can’t quite wrap my mind around the fact that it’s been a full year since Classy Girl Essentials natural haircare line first launched! It has been an honor to see how we’ve grown over the past year and I feel so grateful to have been a part of so many natural hair journeys and routines! I’ve learned so much as a business owner that’s also aided in my growth personally. God has shown himself faithful and I feel blessed to be a vessel for his kingdom. Let’s take a look back over our first year to reflect on the journey, opportunities, and stats!

I’d like to begin with the journey because of course without it none of this would exist today. I never would’ve imagined that my spark to find products that would nourish and provide long lasting moisture would ignite into a full blown natural haircare brand. On the surface it may look easy, but this journey has had its fair share of both highs and lows! As a one woman team, there are times where the blessings seem to overflow and I’m full of life and new ideas. Then, there are times where I’m burned out and it feels as though the weight of the world is on my shoulders. Not to mention how lonely it can sometimes feel when those around you don’t understand the dilemma you’re facing of whether to take a step back from the business responsibilities or keep pushing forward even when you have no idea what the next step is. Through it all, my faith in Christ is what fuels me and keeps me going. Even though this journey has been scary at times, he has continued to show up for me and fills me with strength to persevere!

Our brand has had many amazing opportunities ranging from our appearance on podcast and being featured in a few magazines. Our greatest accomplishment was having our brand inside of the Dollar Mania beauty supply store after only being in business for 7 months. Of all these amazing opportunities my favorite would have to be going out and personally talking with naturals about my brand and hearing their amazing journeys. It has been an honor to offer products that have truly made a difference in their routines and hearing the feedback has kept me inspired on this journey.

Lastly, I wanted to share our first year stats with you all since you are the ones who made this possible. I couldn’t have imagined that our first year would look like this. I want to thank every single person that has purchased any of our products online and in store. The love is truly felt and I don’t take any of it for granted!
